What is considered an emergency?

Please contact our Emergency Service Line if your building is experiencing:

  • An immediate danger to resident safety
  • A risk of significant damage to property
  • A threat to essential services (e.g. electricity, plumbing, or security)
For example:
 
  • Burst pipe or major water leak causing flooding or property damage
  • Power outage affecting multiple units or common areas
  • Fire, smoke, or burning smell (after calling 000)
  • Exposed live wires or electrical hazards
  • Broken building entry door or security gate preventing safe access or compromising building security
  • Fire system faults (e.g. alarms or sprinklers inoperative)
  • Fallen trees, structural collapse, or storm damage posing an immediate danger

What are considered non-emergency issues?

  • Noise complaints between residents or neighbouring units
  • Lost unit or apartment keys
  • Faulty internal doors, windows, or flyscreens
  • Minor leaks or drips not causing immediate damage
  • Light globes out in common areas (where lighting remains adequate)
